Your 12-Week Journey

Our program is designed to take you from beginner to job-ready in 12 weeks. Here's what your experience will look like:

1

Weeks 1-2: Building Your Foundation

You'll start by learning the fundamentals — dental terminology, professional conduct, and the basics of working in a dental office. You'll meet your classmates and instructors, and start getting comfortable in a clinical environment.

2

Weeks 3-8: Hands-On Clinical Training

This is where it gets real. You'll practice clinical skills in a real dental office environment, working with actual equipment and tools. You'll learn chairside assisting, infection control, dental charting, X-rays, and clinical procedures.

3

Weeks 9-10: Certification Prep

Prepare for your dental assistant certification exam with comprehensive review sessions and practice tests. You'll earn your credential as part of the program.

4

Weeks 11-12: Externship

Put everything you've learned into practice during your externship at a local dental office. You'll work alongside licensed professionals, gaining real-world experience that employers value.

A Typical Week

Classroom Learning

Each week includes structured classroom time where you'll learn the theory and knowledge behind dental assisting — from anatomy and terminology to patient care protocols and office procedures.

Hands-On Practice

Our classes take place in real dental offices, so you'll practice on the same equipment you'll use in your career. This isn't a simulation — it's the real thing.

What You'll Learn

  • Dental terminology
  • Chairside assisting
  • Infection control
  • Dental radiography (X-rays)
  • Dental charting
  • Instrument identification
  • Restorative procedures
  • Patient care & comfort
  • Office management
  • Certification exam prep

Small Classes, Big Support

Our class sizes are small by design, so you get the individual attention you need. Your instructors are experienced dental professionals who are invested in your success — and our student support team is here to help with everything from scheduling to career placement.

I've had a good experience as I am half way through the program. The instructors are great. I do wish we were able to practice on each other (classmates) but other than that it has been worth while & I look forward to the classes/labs. Read less

The school in general is amazing! both instructors taneisha and tammy are amazing, the only issue i have is karen. she is very informative and helpful but she tends to take a while to answer, i had an issue of not getting an externship and was told to email her and i still havent heard back from her (been a week now) but thankfully one of my instructors (tammy) helped me out! Like i said, the program in general is amazing, just the one issue with communication. Read less

I am about half way though with the program. I am enjoying it so far & have learned alot. The instructors are helpful & Understanding & kind. The main 2 issues i have are the cost ( really wish I could of applied for FASFA or something along those lines ) also, this is the first class the school sent the scrubs to the school instead of the students. & they have apparently been on "back order". i had to buy another pair for the extern. sure I will need more than one pair eventually, although I wouldnt mind the pair I already paid for.. I could use the money back to at least get some in a timely manner. Read less

The local teachers are amazing. Karen and Hannah were very informative and friendly. With the current lack of dental assistants on the peninsula, this school is a great way to start a career in the dental industry. Their enrollment team could use some work. There was a lot of confusion and lack of communication with scheduling before the class started. Read less

Showing an abilities and some have regular ability. This school was not just reasonable. It took into consideration a chance I in any case wouldn't have had. What's more, the entire class felt totally reveled, empowered, and roused by our teacher Burnaze. She addresses people and sets aside a few minutes for all the material required. She develops a group climate and genuinely pre-arranged me for the vocation im confronting. A genuine honest person with a brain to see. Read less
